                     Walk against warming

Around 30 people  marched down Baylis st in Wagga to raise awareness for Climate Change awarness on Saturday the 14th of August. This was a great opportunity to make the politicians see that Climate change is an issue concerning residents in Wagga Wagga. We had representatives from the AYCC (Australian Youth Climate Coalition) and also the climate elephant which you would have seen in the news. The walk has been organised by CROW (Climate Rescue Of Wagga), so I would like to thank them for making it a great walk.

Bike Racks

There are new bike racks popping up around campus. There have been new ones installed in front of the library. There will be more popping up around campus after we have finalised the best places to put them. But ill keep you updated on the progress.

Vegetable Gardens!

We have had a lot of students on campus making there own veggie patches. This is a great way for the campus to become more sustainable. I would like to thank all the students who have put the time and effort in for these. Great work guys.

If you live on campus and your accommodation does not have a Vegetable garden talk with your RA to see if you are able to get one. There has to be a lot of work though as a lot of students are doing fundraising themselves to pay for these Gardens.

Give me your thoughts about these Vege gardens. Are they working, Are they been looked after, Have you got one, What are you growing, how often do you use it, And anything else you can think of.

There is also the Eco Active garden up behind new res which is opened for all students and staff to go and help out or just relax.
